Tenure with Crosland Since 1984 Professional Experience As President, Peter Pappas is responsible for strategic direction of targeted markets and preferred types of retail projects, and management of overall development activities across six states. With a significant background in leasing and sales, Peter is passionate about the desired mix of retailers and restaurants which, when integrated with innovative site planning and timeless architectural design, results in signature placemaking. He has participated in the development of over 8.6 million square feet of retail space, exceeding $1.5 billion in costs. Notable placemaking projects developed include Birkdale Village, an 850,000-sf. mixed-use development, Blakeney, a 270-acre multi-use development, both in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Biltmore Park Town Square, a 790,000-sf. mixed use development in Asheville, North Carolina, as well as regional centers such as The Shops at Greenridge (640,000-sf.) in Greenville, South Carolina and Providence Marketplace (830,000-sf.) in Nashville, Tennessee.
